  INEC ISSUES CERTIFICATE OF RETURN TO GOV-ELECT ALHAJI UMAR NAMADI Alhaji Umar Namadi, the winner of the just concluded governorship election in Jigawa State, has received his Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) alongside other winners of the state assembly elections. The presentation of the certificates took place this morning being 31st day of March 2023 at the INEC headquarters in Dutse, the state capital. Speaking at the ceremony, the Resident Electoral Commissioner in Jigawa State, Prof Mohammad Lawal, congratulated the winners and urged them to work towards the development of the state. "Today, we are gathered here to present certificates of return to the winners of the Jigawa State governorship and state assembly elections. I congratulate you all and urge you to work together to bring about the much-needed development in the state," Prof Lawal said.
