Being an IT Personnel I am plentifully watchful of how IT is pleasingly suitable to global economy and befitting it's lifeblood nowadays, with the meedful appointment of a technocrat Hon. Habib Aminu Kani by His Excellency to play the role of Special Adviser on Technology/Innovation, withal resuscitation and consciousness-raising of Glaxy backbone by the congnoscente Governor Namadi FCA I undoubtedly esteemed that Namadi's Greater Jigawa Mission through Digital Transformation is Insha Allah a done deal.


 As long as iam a product from the same Industry of Technology and Innovation i passionately and enthusiastically pledge my support with the possession of my little know-how on the ICT discipline, I will inexhaustible hand over my sweat out by all affordable means to see that the extraordinary, capable kinsman, Honorable Aminu and his vision to Namadi's Jigawa Digital Transformation Agenda is achievable. 



Considering the Governor Mallam Umar Namadi FCA, said in his 12-point plan that “Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as a priority sector for achieving socio-economic development, thereby, reclaiming the past glory of the state as the leader in e-governance and use of ICT for human capital development and digital job creation”


It’s a fact that ICT was the second-highest contributor to Nigeria's GDP in second Quarter of 2023. Meanwhile, The ICT sector contributed 19.54% to Nigeria's real Gross Domestic Product (GDP). 


Moreover, Nigeria’s ICT sector has been growing significantly in the past two decades. The use of mobile phones to access the internet and perform many tasks is on the increase globally, not just in Nigeria. But that is the main driver of the growth in the country’s ICT sector.

FLASH: House of Reps orders CBN to suspend new cash withdrawal limit

Tthe Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to halt the implementation of the new cash withdrawal policy slated for January 9, 2023 pending compliance with the provisions of the Act establishing the bank. The House also summoned CBN Governor Godwin Emiefele in accordance with the provisions of the Central Bank Act to brief the Chamber on several policies of the bank in recent times. There was anger in the House on Thursday as members took turns to condemn the new cash withdrawal policy, saying it will grossly affect small businesses and the economy since most rural communities don’t have access to banks.
