Emir of Hadejia Turbans Bala Muhammad as the 12th Mabudi of Hadejia

Alhaji DR Adamu Abubakar Maje CON, Emir of Hadejia and Chairman Jigawa State Council of Chiefs, has turbaned a family icon of hope. 

Alhaji Abubakar turbaned Alhaji Bala Muhammad (Balajo) as the 12th Mabudi of Hadejia Emirate. The event which took place Yesterday, 3rd December 2022 around 11:ooam as the Hadejia Emir's Palace. 

Mabudi Trust News reports that the Saturday Turbaning Ceremony attracteds everal eminent personalities from all walks of life. We can all attest to the fact that the new Mabudi of Hadejia brings many qualities to the title. What stands him out for this role is his compassion and belief in upholding human dignity at all levels and he carried all family members along.

Mabudi family deserves the honour received yesterday from the people of Hadejia Emirate. May Allah bless the position. I believe the family will continue to contribute to the development of Hadejia Emirate, Jigawa State and Nigeria in general.

You will recall that His Royal Highness the Emir of Hadejia Alhaji (DR) Adamu Abubakar Maje CON  sent a letter dated 12th,October 2022 to the Families of Mabudin Hadejia signed by Alh. Baffale Abbas  Secretary to the Hadejia Emirate Council. 

Bala Muhammad Gambo was  Mabudin Hadejia, as a result of the death of his father Mabudi Alh. Muhammad Gambo Suleiman, on 28 September 2022. He succeeded his father as the twelfth (12) Mabudi in the House of Mabudin Hadejia.

Muhammad  was born on the 27th day of May 1979 in Tudun Mabudi area of  Hadejia town, Jigawa State tate.

He started attending the Allo School (Qur'an Reading) at the Mallam Amadu Muhammad School in the teacher's corner in Mabudi Hill in Hadejia town. He attended primary school in Sambo (Sambo Primary School) from 1986 to 1992.

After that, he joined Wunti Senior High School (GDSS WUNTI) Hadejia 1992-1995 where he completed his junior high school education, then he went to Senior High School in Government College Birnin kudu (Government College Birnin kudu) 1995-1998, where he got his Secondary school certificate (NECO/WAEC). From 2000-2002, he attended the Federal Government Training Center in Kano where he obtained a Diploma in Accounting.

He started working under the Jigawa State Local Government Service commission in 2002 as a financial accountant in Hadejia. He also held the position of financial accountant in the agricultural sector of Hadejia Local Government  where he gave his attention in terms of special duties, that is to show as the payer in Hadejia Local Government (Asst. Pay Officer). He later became an Accountant in Guri Local Government.

In 2017, he participated in a seminar on the work of the accountant in Jigawa State (MAN POWER DEVELOPMENT) Dutse.

The New Mabudi is skilled in horse riding which as a result he has been to Sokoto Horse Riding Association 2002, Daura 2004 and Niger Republic 2006, they gave him a photo of praise.

He is a person who loves the people, who contributes to the development of the people. This made him a member of the Fanisau neighborhood development group in Hadejia town. 

His Majesty the Emir of Hadejia Alh. (DR) Adamu Abubakar Maje CON and the Chairman of the Council of Chiefs of Jigawa State confirmed him the 12th Mabudi of Hadejia on the 12th of October 2022.

Brief History of the Kingdom of Mabudin Hadejia.

It is a matter of fact that Mabudi is one of the leading position in the Hadejia palace which will say that the history of Hadejia's reign is not complete unless the history of Mabudi's reign is released. Many people do not know the impact of Mabudi's reign. . This is the result of the incomplete history of Hadejia in one place, except the few written by Hadejia historians on the old houses or the history of the predecessors, whether seen or heard. In this way, the history of Mabudi's reign was known.

History has not identified the exact year that Mabudi reigned in Hadejia but it is clear that Mabudi Abubakar Hausa is the person who started the reign of Mabudin Hadejia where history shows that the Emir of Hadejia Buhari appointed him to that position. 

From the reign of Mabudi Abubakar Hausa until today, there have been eleven (11) Mabudi where the twelveth (12) is being appointed yesterday.
